It Takes Two

A Refreshing Approach to Understanding and
Coping with Dementia Behavior

Communicating with a loved one who has Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia can be frustrating and disheartening. In a four-week class, family caregivers will learn how dementia affects a person’s ability to understand and communicate; how they should speak with and respond to a person with memory loss; and the best ways to handle troubling behavior.

WHEN: 
Wednesdays, May 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

WHERE:              
Avenidas, 450 Bryant St., Palo Alto

COST:                  
Donations are accepted and respite scholarships are available.
