Family and Medical Leave Enhancement Act (2009)Federal bill would expand the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) by extending coverage to employees at worksites where the employer employs at least 25 (currently 50) employees. The bill would allow employees to take FMLA leave to meet routine family medical care needs, including visiting an older relative in a nursing home or group home.
