Veteran and Servicemember Caregiver Support Act (2009)Federal bill would establish a two-year pilot program of training, certification, and support for family caregivers of eligible veterans and members of the Armed Forces. Caregivers would be paid under this program, which must be carried out in at least six medical facilities.
