MO- Senior Services Growth and Development Program (2011)

This bill would impose a new 1% tax starting January 2012 on the annual premiums on certain individual and group Medicare and long-term care insurance contracts. The revenues from this tax would go to fund senior services, with a requirement that 50% of the money is used to fund operating and capital needs of centers and for the establishment of new centers. (note: bill was pre-filed on 12/1/2010)
