Adult Day Achievement Center Enhancement Act (2011)

This bill directs the Administration on Aging to expand and enhance existing adult day programs for people with neurological diseases or conditions (including MS, Parkinson's, TBI). Within 90 days of passage of this bill, the Administration on Aging (AOA) is directed to initiate a comprehensive survey of current adult day programs. In addition, this bill directs AOA to establish a grant program to provide grants to organizations providing adult day care programs, with a minimum of five recipients during the first year and 15 recipients per year by the fourth fiscal year. The bill authorizes $1 million for FY 2012 and increases to $10 million by fiscal year 2016.
