Dependent Care Tax Credit Expansion (2008)

Federal bill would expand the dependent care tax credit by increasing the amount of care-related expenses taxpayers could claim, repealing the requirement that the dependent care receiver live with the caregiver, making retirees eligible for the credit, and making the credit refundable.
