The State of the States in Family Caregiver Support: A 50-State Study (2004)
This groundbreaking study profiles the experiences of all 50 states and the District of Columbia in the three years since passage of the NFCSP in providing publicly funded caregiver support services. It examines broadly the range and scope of federal and state-funded caregiver support programs and examines policy choices and approaches to caregiver support. It also provides detailed information about each of the 150 publicly-funded programs that have a caregiver component (for FY 2003), including how the program is administered, its funding levels, eligibility and assessment criteria, services provided, whether consumer direction is a component, systems development information and other related issues.
