CA- Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) (2011)

This bill would require the CA Dept. of Health Care Services to establish the CA Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. Existing law authorizes the dept. to establish the CA PACE program and contract with up to 10 demonstration projects. This bill would delete the pilot/demonstration programs and instead provide that the dept. can enter into contracts with public or private nonprofit organizations for implementation of PACE. It would also allow the state to contract with 15 separate organizations for implementation of PACE.

State California

Bill Number AB 574
