Caring for an Aging America Act (2011)

This bill would provide health care professionals who specialize in gerontology and geriatrics with access to loan repayment programs in exchange for agreeing to work in underserved areas. The legislation is based on recommendations from the 2008 Institute of Medicine report "Retooling for an Aging America: Building the Health care Workforce"
