Family and Medical Leave Restoration Act (2009)

Federal bill would reverse the most restrictive of the Bush Administration's 2008 FMLA regulations and restore the regulations that previously governed the use of FMLA leave. It would restore workers' medical privacy; reverse the time limits workers have for giving notice of their need for leave; and reverse the additional requirements and procedures when requesting leave.
