MA - Family Temporary Disability Insurance (2007)

Bill would establish temporary disability insurance and family temporary disability insurance for employees who need time off because of their own serious health condition or to care for an ill spouse, child, parent, parent-in-law, sibling, grandparent, grandchild or other relative living with the house with the employee. Employees are allowed up to 12 weeks of leave with pay equal to 66% of their average weekly wage, but not to exceed 57 ? percent of the state average weekly wage, plus 25 dollars for each dependent.
