Coordination activities in the National Family Caregiver Support Program (2005)

This report focuses on the role of coordination in developing the NFCSP at the state and local levels and integrating caregiver support into the broader system of HCBS. The report is derived from discussions held with State Units on Aging in 2003 via teleconference calls. The calls revealed that ensuring service continuity has been a strong focus in program development. This report provides examples of what states are doing in this area, including partnerships and local coordination efforts, and it highlights how state administrators are connecting the NFCSP to Olmstead and systems change activities.
