FCA Releases New Consumer-Friendly Publications
on Critical Caregiving Issues
Informative Fact Sheets help families as they care for frail elders and individuals with chronic or debilitating illnesses.
SAN FRANCISCO, April 25, 2013 – Family Caregiver Alliance?s National Center on Caregiving has released new and updated Fact Sheets to help families make the complicated personal, legal and financial decisions that accompany caring for an adult with a debilitating health condition such as Alzheimer?s disease, stroke or brain trauma.
The Fact Sheets offer clear, unbiased information on long-term caregiving--a complex subject that touches nearly everyone and impacts public policy at all levels. FCA publications are used by social workers, healthcare organizations, service providers, researchers, academics, reporters, and legislative staffs, along with tens of thousands of caregivers each year. These new and updated publications join a comprehensive library of more than 65 FCA Fact Sheets on a wide range of topics relating to family caregiving.
All Fact Sheets are available FREE on the FCA website at www.caregiver.org. Many are in multiple languages.
