Taking Care of You: Powerful Tools for Caregiving
Free Class for Family Caregivers Scheduled in San Mateo

This class gives caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and other brain impairments the tools they need to reduce stress and prevent burnout. Topics addressed include learning how to reduce anger, guilt and depression; communicating more effectively with family and healthcare providers; and making difficult caregiving decisions. Participants will also receive a copy of the The Caregiver Helpbook, 300 pages of advice specifically designed for caregivers.
