Taking Care of ME!
A Workshop for Family Caregivers
| FOCUS: |
|
One of the greatest challenges of being a family caregiver is maintaining one's own physical and emotional health; too often caregivers neglect their needs. This workshop explores the feelings of guilt, sadness and loneliness that often accompany caregiving. Participants will learn tools enabling them to reduce stress, change negative thinking and ask for the help they need from family, friends and physicians.
