On the Road Again: Driving and Transportation After a Brain Injury

  FREE workshop in San Francisco!


SAN FRANCISCO—October 29, 2004—When a person who’s had a stroke or other brain injury returns home after treatment, concerns about driving and other transportation options are critical for both the survivor and their family. A workshop sponsored by Family Caregiver Alliance will provide an overview of how driving skills can be affected, which skills can be improved, and other options for transportation.

This workshop is for stroke survivors, family members and professionals.  It will answer those challenging questions about driving, and offer other resources related to getting out and about after a stroke.
