Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA)
FCA support and assists families and caregivers through education, advocacy and services. In addition to providing training to technical assistance to California’s Caregiver Resource Centers, FCA hosts the National Center on Caregiving (NCC). The Indiana Aged and Disabled Medicaid Waiver provides Self-Directed Attendant Care, meaning, family members or friends can be chosen by the care recipient to be the personal care provider and receive compensation. Other services may include:

Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP)
HIP is a health insurance for people with limited income and resources who are not Medicaid eligible. It pays for a variety of medical services, hospice, mental health services and care management, depending on eligibility. HIP does have a monthly premium based on a sliding scale determined by participants household income.

Indiana County-Specific Veterans Service Officer Contacts (VSO)
The County Veterans Service Offices are a local point of contact for veterans in their county to assist with all veteran issues. They work closely with The Indiana Department of Veteran Affairs, The United States Department of Veterans Affairs, and various Veteran Service Organizations assisting veterans and their family members with benefits they may be eligible for due to their military service.

The Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Helpline, 1-800-662-HELP (4357) (also known as the Treatment Referral Routing Service), is a confidential, free, 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year, information service, in English and Spanish, for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders.
