Iowa’s Health and Disability Waiver is a Medicaid waiver that allows the care recipient to pick and choose their personal care attendant- certain family members may be eligible- who is able to assist with skilled and/or non-skilled services such as tube feedings, monitoring medications, injections, dressing, hygiene, transferring, eating, feeding, etc.. Other services may include:

  • Home and vehicle modifications
  • Home delivered meals
