Maryland Attendant Care Program
Maryland’s Attendant Care Program is a non-Medicaid program and it provides financial assistance to severely disabled adults. Services may include personal care, transportation, and in-home support such as chores and/or cleaning.

Maryland Community First Choice and Caring for Aging Loved Ones
Maryland’s Community First Choice program is an option through Medicaid that allows for certain family members to get hired and compensated as the family caregiver. Services may include assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, eating, dressing, mobility, etc.

Maryland Community Pathways Waiver
Maryland’s Community Pathways Waiver is a Medicaid waiver that is intended to assist intellectually or developmentally disabled adults remain living at home through community based resources. This waiver is not applicable to seniors with physical ailments due to aging or adults with physical disabilities.

The Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Helpline, 1-800-662-HELP (4357) (also known as the Treatment Referral Routing Service), is a confidential, free, 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year, information service, in English and Spanish, for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders. Attendant Care Program
Government programs assists individuals with any type of disability remain independent in the community by helping to pay for in-home care.
