Montana’s Big Sky Waiver is a Medicaid waiver that assists seniors and disabled persons to remain living at home or within the community. This waiver allows certain family members, including spouses, may be eligible to be hired and paid as the personal care provider. Other services may include:

Montana Community First Choice/Personal Assistance Programs
Montana’s CFC / PAS programs are Medicaid programs that allow elderly or disabled persons to “self-direct” their care to someone of their own choice. Certain family members can be hired and paid as the personal care provider. Spouses and legal guardians are typically excluded from being able to get paid.
