Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA)

FCA support and assists families and caregivers through education, advocacy and services. In addition to providing training to technical assistance to California’s Caregiver Resource Centers, FCA hosts the National Center on Caregiving (NCC). Personal Care Attendant Services (PCAS)

PCAS is part of the Medicaid state plan that provides personal care attendant services to assist wheelchair bound or aging persons with qualifying needs. This program allows certain people to be hired and paid as the personal care attendant. Family members are usually excluded.

Medicaid for Employed Adults with Disabilities (MEAD)
