er’s disease and related dementias or their family/informal

caregivers. Some examples are programs or projects using art,

music, theatre, journaling, multimedia (e.g. ilm, documen-

tary, radio) or other types of creative expression.

• Diverse/MultiCultural CoMMunities

his award goes to programs or projects that provide services,

support or other types of outreach to family/informal caregiv-

ers of persons with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias

in diverse ethnic, age, religious/spiritual, gender, rural, low

income, and LGBT or other communities.

his award goes to programs or projects that advocate for sys-

tems change for the beneit of family/informal caregivers or

care recipients with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.

hese eforts could focus on legislation, executive or admin-

istrative changes, advocacy campaigns, or other actions to

strengthen the public or private sector’s recognition and sup-

port of family/informal caregivers.
